Julie Ferguson is a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Financial Services Banking and Capital Markets Assurance Practice for over 15 years based in Charlotte, NC. She has served several of the leading financial institutions in the U.S. and has a broad range of experience in banking and capital markets. Julie has significant experience with complex and critical accounting policies and practices such as the allowance for credit losses and SOP 03-3, treasury matters and financial instruments related topics. Julie is considered a subject matter expert on the allowance for loan loss and credit risk management areas and has helped clients through addressing issues associated with allowance for loan loss methodology refinements, purchase accounting and FDIC-Assisted transactions.
Julie joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997 and was admitted to the partnership in 2011. Julie graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech in 1997 after earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Julie is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of A Child's Place, a local non-profit serving homeless children.
