Dawnita is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Corporate and Institutional Banking at Regions Bank, where she oversees operational strategy for the division. With more than 25 years in banking and a specialization in credit risk, she has built a career at the intersection of disciplined risk management and forward-looking leadership.

Beyond her role at Regions, Dawnita is a recognized voice on financial literacy and access. She is the organizer and President of the Pearls for Progress Foundation, which is the non profit arm of the Sigma Omicron Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The Foundation has delivered financial education programming and scholarships to individuals across Georgia. Dawnita is the founder of Creditrained, a credit education business focused on developing early career talent for banking roles. She is also the author of The Stories We Tell, which focuses on helping individuals recognize the impact of their stories.

Dawnita speaks frequently on leadership and financial empowerment, bringing both an executive's vantage point and a practitioner's grounding in what it takes to build financial resilience.
